Hello World! Yan ang sampol na post kapag nag-install ka ng blog sa wordpress. Di ku na babaguhin ang title at akmang-akma naman para sa mga target audience ng blog na ito na nagkalat na sa buong mundo. Ang blog na ito ay isang subok na naman para magkaroon ng maayos na ugnayan ang mga nagtapos sa Aurora National Science High School at pati na rin ang mga kasalukuyang nag-aaral pa lamang. Dito natin ilalagay ang ating balita, larawan, istorya, mga chika at chuva tungkol sa ating mahal na paaralan. Inaasahang lahat na 25 na batch ng ANSHS (kasama ang nag-aaral ngayun) ay mag ambag nga kanilang kung anu-anu sa blog na ito.
Mas maganda kung bawat batch ay may kinatawan na magpo-post dito. Pwedeng isa, dalawa, lima, o kahit kayung lahat. Kaya kung interesado ka ay mag email lang sa akin sa batangbaler@gmail.com at sabihing gusto mong sumali sa blog na ito. Ikaw ay bibigyan ko ng user account para makapag log-in at makapag-post ng iyong kung anu-anu.

Regz performs at Akaw Invasion
After three years, the Akaw Invasion was finally restaged at Purple Haze Bar last September 8. With its goal of exposing our homegrown music in the mainstream, Akaw Invasion put to limelight the rockers-that-be in Baler that have been making waves here in Manila.
Of course, when we speak of local rockers, our batchmate Regz is definitely one of the frontrunners. Known as Kangker in the music scene as he masterly plays the drums, his band, the Orgasm Addicts has consistently been having gigs in several bars in metropolis. In this particular night, Regz and his bandmates unleashed their prowess as they exhibited their compositions, causing hysterical shrieking from the audience.
The night ended well, with people asking for more performance from the bands, and requesting another Akaw Invasion. Truly, Akaw Invasion has invaded the music scene.

Ten years ago, we’re just a bunch of young idealists ready to embark on what’s laid ahead of us. Mostly laid-back, we know we’re no-nonsense when it comes to real life. Indeed after ten years, we’ve proven our worth. We’ve shown to the world what’s Batch 11 of Aurora National Science High School are made of.Beyond doubt, we’re all successful in all the fields we’ve chosen. We have our very first lawyer in the name of Ate Phanie. We’ve produced top-caliber engineers (Raymond and Andrew) who are now in the other side of the world to establish their prowess. Our other engineers have preferred to remain here, like Jaime, Billy and Wilbert.
A millionaire in our midst, Angelo has remained as humble as he was during our high school days. Aside from working as a marine (I hope it’s not incorrect!), he has also ventured in business. Tone and Ronald have also demonstrated their greatness in business, too. Leny and Odessa are our distinguished teachers we’re proud of, so are Ate Phanie and April who are college professors.
And how can we forget our police, Obey and our social worker, Roslyn, who have both chosen the road less traveled in terms of careers. Our computer wizard, Raygan has his own band, the Orgasm Addicts, which has been making rants and raves in the music scene. Memen, after taking several college degrees, has already found home in nursing. And Karl has been playing with words in his work as QA analyst in an imperial company and in this blog.
Unfortunately, a few has been heard about other members of the batch. We know you’re all successful, so come out of your shell and let’s have a little talk and remiscing over a cup of coffee and a handful of peanuts (pwede ding beer 🙂 )
A lot of things has happened in span of ten years. It’s time to look back on what we were because as the saying goes, “Ang hindi lumingon sa pinanggalingan, di makakarating sa paroonan.” In our case, “Ang hindi lumingon sa pinanggalingan, di makakarating sa paroonan pa.” There’s a big difference in there, I kid you not.

back on track
yehey, buhay na naman ang blog na ito! at last, after ilang months na pagiging idle, balik na naman tayo sa masiglang mundo ng blogging.
well, dapat lang talagang maging masigla ang blog na ito lalo pa’t naging masigla ang nagdaang taon para sa batch natin. mangolekta tayo ng maraming engineers (na ang ilan ay nasa ibang bansa na) at marami sa atin ang tila di na mapigilan sa paglipad ng mga piniling propesyon.
pero ano’t ano pa man, babalik at babalik pa rin tayo sa ating pinanggalingan, ano mang alaala meron tayo dito. kasabay nito, sa feb 4-11 (di ko sure kung tama) ay isasagawa ang grand alumni homecoming para sa selebrasyon ng ika-25 years ng ating alma mater. pwedeng ilagay sa chat box kung me mga tanong para sa selebrasyon.
paalaala lang, kasabay ng selebrasyong ito, isang dekada na rin ang lumipas ng mamaalam tayo sa aurora national science high school. kaya parang it really calls for a celebration.
